WHAT IS TEACH AND TELL?
The Aim of Teach and Tell Ministries is to equip believers to reach
non-believers with the wonderful Gospel message of Salvation through
Christ alone. We provide both "on the job" training and classroom
instruction. To accomplish this work, Teach and Tell Ministries
has two simple objectives:
· Effectively share the Gospel of Christ with
lost souls wherever they may be found, presenting them with an
invitation to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.
· Train local churches, Christian schools,
Bible College students, missionary trainees, youth groups and
individuals to effectively evangelise their world for Jesus Christ.
WHAT TEACH AND TELL DOES
TEACH AND TELL strives to share the Gospel of Christ wherever people
may be found. Whether indoors or out we want to seek lost souls with
the Good News of salvation through Christ.
To gain a meaningful hearing for the Gospel, we will do whatever it
takes. Sketch board messages, object lessons, mime, drama, music
and even Gospel-oriented "magic" tricks have been used with great
effect to draw listeners and share Christ with them.
Those who work with us are both learning and doing. They are
teaching and telling. They are faithfully obeying the Lord’s
command to go into all the world and preach (tell) the Gospel.
RESPONSIBILITY
Our responsibility is to…
* Evangelise through the preaching of the Gospel in
meetings, classes, open-air, and such like and to disciple and
follow-up converts either personally or through correspondence courses
and to refer them to a Bible believing and Bible preaching local church
in their area when at all possible.
* Train and disciple others to do the same through
encouragement, teaching, example, and “on the job” training
and to expand this ministry, as the Lord leads – “Till the
whole world knows”.
* Involve the local church in…
o Evangelism
o Support – prayer, practical and personnel.
o Follow-up of
converts – which may mean the prior training of people to do
follow-up.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
* The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of
God. It is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and
conduct.
* That there is only one true and living God
eternally existent in three persons. Father, Son and the Holy
Spirit.
* That the Lord Jesus is true God and true man,
conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin. We believe in His
life, substitutionary sacrifice for sins, in His bodily resurrection,
in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal
return in power and glory.
* That salvation is entirely of God’s grace
through repentance and a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
* That those who acknowledge Christ as Saviour and
Lord belong to the church universal, His body. Christ is the only
head and each of us are members, united by the Holy Spirit.
* That each person, upon believing in Christ is
regenerated, baptized, indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit, who also
gives gifts to the Church and enables each believer to produce the
fruit of the Spirit.
* We accept that among Christians who agree with this
statement of belief there will be differences of opinions on other
issues. We value this diversity within the body of Christ but
emphasize the unity, love and harmony that comes from a common faith in
Jesus Christ.
